At the conclusion of the 37th Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships in Varna (BUL), Kamran Ramazanov, CEO of our global partner SmartScoring presented the SmartScoring Shooting star award to North Macedonia’s Rejchl Stojanov.
Started in 2018, this award aims to put a gymnast with an exceptional story in the spotlight, someone who is an inspiration for the future generation of gymnasts and the general public alike.
18-year-old Stojanov was born in the United States to a Macedonian mother and a Bulgarian father. She currently lives and trains in the Bulgarian capital Sofia under the guidance of the legendary Neshka Robeva and Valentina Simeonova. Having both passports, she opted to compete for North Macedonia. Absolutely passionate for her sport, Stojanov has been making a name for herself, highlighted so far by a fabulous 16th place in the all-around final of the 2020 Europeans in Kyiv (UKR). Her results are vital to the development of this discipline and its future stars in North Macedonia. She enjoys great support from her family. Mum, dad and brother are all in the stands here in Varna cheering her on. Her dream is to compete in the Olympic Games.
