Preview of the 9th Golden Age Gym Festival

From 22 to 27 September 2024, the Bulgarian coastal resort Burgas will welcome 1414 gymnasts from 19 countries for the 9th edition of the Golden Age Gym Festival.
Located on the Black Sea coast, Burgas is known for its ebullient life, the smiling eyes of its people, delicious food, and the power of the sun. A city perfect for the joy that is Golden Age Gym Festival. Waking up to a vast array of workshops to choose from, over art classes, touristic excursions and leisure time, to the late afternoon City Performances where our participants can show off their skills, to the evening’s social activities. There’s never a dull moment during this festive week.

The LOC has been working really hard to ensure that everything will be ready. We are sure that in Burgas you will experience the best gymnastics week of your life, performing, taking part in different Workshops and socialising with friends from all over Europe. Beside Gymnastics try also to enjoy the nature, the wonderful city, and the wine and gastronomy. We hope that you will leave Burgas inspired, with a big smile and ready to come back to our next Golden Age Gym Festival in Les Sables d‘Olonne in France in 2026. The European Gymnastics TC-GfA are certain that all our gymnastics friends taking part in GAGF will live an unforgettable week of sports enjoying the hospitality of the Bulgarian people. The beautiful city of Burgas is waiting for you and we look forward to seeing you all.
One of the highlights of each Golden Age Gym Festival is the Gala / Closing Ceremony. 11 groups have already been selected to participate. The Technical Committee will allocate 2 wild cards during the event. In addition, the Burgas Municipality will present 2 awards during the Gala: ‘Biggest Group’ and ‘Best Costume’.
