The competition starts with the boys and girls qualification rounds which determine both the qualifiers to the mixed team and apparatus finals, and the all-around and team ranking. Successfully launched at last year’s edition, the Mixed Team final sees a boy and girl team up to battle through 5 rounds to lift the trophy. The apparatus finals are split over 2 days. The top 8 gymnasts, with a maximum of 2 per country, compete in these finals.
