This weekend, the World Cup series in Trampoline Gymnastics starts in the Azerbaijani capital Baku. Only Individual and Synchronised Trampoline are scheduled though, with Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline joining the series later at the World Cup in Rimini (ITA).
A look at the roster shows us that some big names are in contention: 2020 Olympic Champion Ivan Litvinovich (BLR), 2016 Olympic Champion Uladzislau Hancharou (BLR), 2021 triple European Champion Aleh Rabtsau (BLR), 2021 European Champion Iana Lebedeva (RUS), three-time Olympian Luba Golovina (GEO), two-time Olympian Diogo Abreu (POR) and DMT European and World Champion Lina Sjoeberg (SWE).
We’re keen to see all these brilliant athletes, and many more, at the upcoming European Championships, in Rimini from 1 to 5 June. Our event features all trampoline disciplines for juniors and seniors. Check our website for the latest information: https://www.europeangymnastics.com/event/2022-trampoline-europeans-rimini-ita/overview
At the World Games in Birmingham (USA) in July, the spotlight is on Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline while the competition season for all disciplines ends in November in Sofia (BUL) where the World Championships and World Age Group Competitions will be organised.
Of course, European Gymnastics aims to organise our annual training camp. Our Technical Committee is working hard to finalise the invitation. It will be send to all our member Federations shortly. Stay tuned!
