Preview of the 2022 Artistic Gymnastics season

Tomorrow the World Cup series kicks off in the German city of Cottbus! And it promises to be a busy year for the artistic gymnasts, with a whole string of World Apparatus and Challenge Cups planned, in addition to the University, Mediterranean and Commonwealth Games.  Just have a look at the calendar below!

Our main event, hosted in the height of summer, is the joint European Championships, a one-of-kind event which combines 9 sports in one city. From 11 to 21 August, the German city of Munich will be the place to be. We’ll see both juniors and seniors in action in the Olympiahalle, site of the 1972 Olympic Gymnastics competition.

The year will conclude with the first step towards the 2024 Olympic Games … the World Championships in Liverpool (GBR), from 29 October to 6 November.

It’ll be interesting to see which Olympians will continue and which new seniors can make a name for themselves. Let’s see soon!
