Due to the Covid-19 crisis, several countries withdrew and there will be no audience in the hall. President Farid Gayibov explains the decision to go ahead with these Championships: “2020 has been very special for the whole World. The public will understand that participation level and results are different under these circumstances. Nonetheless we want to offer interested gymnasts and nations the chance to compete. We have put strict covid guidelines in place to maximise the safety of everyone involved.”
