Luxembourg aiming to develop Acrobatic Gymnastics ahead of #ACRO2025

In the framework of a European Gymnastics Technical Committee meeting in Luxembourg, the Gymnastics Federation of Luxembourg organised an ACRO Development Workshop.

The Federation invited its affiliated clubs with their technicians, gymnasts and volunteers to this info session in Differdange as proposed by our Technical Committee. Experts in their field, TC President Carine Charlier was joined by TC members Melanie Sanders, Katarzyna Majewska-Kasprzak and Nikolay Ivanov who gave the participants an introduction in the basics of Acrobatic Gymnastics, and gave advice on how to get started in this discipline.

Silvio Sagramola, General Secretary of the Luxembourg Gymnastics Federation, stressed the importance of creating a lasting legacy when organising a major international event. The effects were seen in TeamGym before and after hosting the 2022 TeamGym Europeans in Luxembourg. The aim is similar for Acrobatic Gymnastics. Potential ACRO gymnasts are looking forward to become inspired in April. Then, Luxembourg is organising the European Age Group Competitions, from 10 to 13 April, followed by the European Championships, from 16 to 20 April, both in Acrobatic Gymnastics.
