The World Challenge Cup series in Artistic Gymnastics continued last weekend in the Bulgarian city of Varna. 2021 European all-around bronze medallist Ilia Kovtun (UKR) was the only double winner, earning the gold on pommel horse and parallel bars. Ukraine claimed two more title as Nazur Chepurniy won vault and Anastasia Bachynska topped the ranking on beam. Aurel Benovic and Tin Srbic gave Croatia two gold medals, for their performance on floor and high bar respectively. 2014 junior European Champion Vinzenz Hoeck clinched the title on his trademark apparatus, rings. Uliana Perebinosova returned home with a full set of medals: gold on bars, silver on vault and bronze on floor. Vault was won by 2017 European Champion Coline Devillard (FRA) while Hanna Szujo (HUN) and Dildora Aripova (UZB) tied for the floor gold.
