Decisions of the Executive Committee - June 2024

In the second meeting of 2024, hosted by Gymnastics Ireland in Dublin on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 June, the Executive Committee of European Gymnastics, led by President Farid Gayibov (AZE), have made the following official decisions:

  • The 2026 edition of the European Gym for Life Challenge and EUROGYM were awarded to the Italian city of Pistoia. European Gym for Life Challenge will take place on 11 July 2026, followed by EUROGYM from 12 to 16 July 2026.
  • The 2026 Golden Age Gym Festival will be held in Les Sables d’Olonne (FRA) from 4 to 9 October 2026.
  • The 2025 European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics were attributed to the German Gymnastics Federation. The event will take place in Leipzig (GER) from 26 to 31 May 2025.
  • A Mixed team final has been added to the programme of the 2025 Artistic Europeans. The Technical Regulations will be updated and published after the September meeting.
  • The final accounts of 2023 were confirmed.
  • A call for hosts is open for the following European Gymnastics events: 2025 European Age Group Competitions and European Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics, 2026 European Championships in Men’s and Women’s Artistic, Rhythmic and Trampoline Gymnastics, 2026 TeamGym Europeans, the 2027 European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics and the 2027 European Age Group Competitions and European Championships in Acrobatic and Aerobic Gymnastics, and the 2028 European Championships in Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.

 

The next Executive Committee meeting will be held in Budapest (HUN) on 6 and 7 September 2024.
