Decisions of the Executive Committee - January 2021

On 29 January, the Executive Committee of European Gymnastics met online for their first meeting of 2021. Led by President Farid Gayibov (AZE), the debates have resulted in the following official decisions and information:

  • Following the withdrawal of host Denmark, the postponed 2020 European Championships in TeamGym have been awarded to the city of Guimaraes (POR), to be held from 1 to 4 December 2021.
  • The 2023 European Championships and European Age Group Competitions in Acrobatic Gymnastics have been awarded to Varna (BUL).
  • The 2024 European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics have been awarded to Budapest (HUN).
  • A call for hosts is open for the following European Gymnastics events: the 2022 European Championships in Trampoline, the 2023 European Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics, the 2023 Congress and the 2024 European Championships in Men’s Artistic, Women’s Artistic and Trampoline Gymnastics and TeamGym.

The next Executive Committee meeting will be held in Lausanne (SUI) from 15 to 17 April 2021.
