Last Thursday and Friday, the three members of the Control Authority of European Gymnastics met in Vienna (AUT), for their annual meeting which was postponed from April due to Covid-19. Under guidance of their President, Catalin Manu, the members of the Control Authority, Ivan Levak and Walter Sinn, examined the 2019 accounts in great detail. Guido Hauswirth, European Gymnastics’ financial advisor, and Lisa Worthmann, European Gymnastics’ General Director, were on hand via zoom to answer their questions.
For the eighth year in a row, European Gymnastics presented positive accounts, underlining the financial stability and thus healthy situation of the Federation. The impact of the coronacrisis on the 2020 budget is currently under evaluation.
European Gymnastics wants to express its gratitude to the continuous support of its sponsors and its event organisers for the high level of events.
